Workflow
- Receiving source files — we accept layouts in any format: InDesign, FrameMaker, Word, PDF. If only PDF is available — we recreate the layout.
- Text extraction — we export text for translation via IDML, MIF, or directly into the CAT system.
- Translation — translation in SDL Trados / memoQ with formatting and tag preservation.
- Layout — we place translated text in the layout, adjust tables, line breaks, and graphics.
- Quality control — QA check: line breaks, orphans, empty blocks, numbering consistency.
- Delivery — we deliver the final file in the original format + PDF for printing.
Expert Tip
Provide source layout files (InDesign, FrameMaker), not just PDFs. This reduces DTP costs by 30–40% and speeds up the work. If source files are unavailable — we can recreate the layout from PDF, but this takes more time.
