Consular Legalization
If the destination country is not a party to the Hague Convention (China, UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.), consular legalization is required — a more complex procedure:
- 1. Notarized certification — document translation with notarized certification
- 2. Ministry of Justice certification — confirmation of the notary's authority
- 3. Russian MFA certification — confirmation of the official's signature
- 4. Consular legalization — final certification at the embassy/consulate of the destination country
Not sure whether you need an apostille or legalization?

Пример: апостиль на свидетельство о рождении для визы в Германию
Ситуация: Клиентка подавала документы на рабочую визу в консульство Германии. Требовался апостилированный перевод свидетельства о рождении.
