It is a procedure in which a notary confirms the authenticity of the translator's signature and the accuracy of the translation. The notary places their seal and signature on the translation, after which the document acquires legal force and is accepted by government agencies, courts, and consulates.

No, your presence is not required. The notary certifies the translator's signature, not yours. We have an in-house notary, so you can send documents remotely (by email or messenger), and we will deliver the finished translation by courier or mail.

An apostille is a simplified form of document legalization for countries that have signed the Hague Convention of 1961 (USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, etc.). It is an official stamp from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs placed on a notarized translation to confirm its authenticity for use abroad.

An apostille is for Hague Convention countries (approximately 120 countries). Consular legalization is for countries that have NOT signed the convention (China, UAE, Egypt, etc.). Consular legalization is more complex and expensive: the document is first certified by the Russian MFA, then by the consulate of the destination country.

We guarantee that our translations are accepted by all Russian government agencies and foreign institutions. If a document is rejected due to translation quality (which has never happened in our 15 years of operation), we will redo the translation for free or issue a refund.

You can receive your translation in the most convenient way: at our office (Moscow), by courier (free within Moscow Ring Road), by Russian Post (to other regions), or by email (scan or PDF, if the original with a seal is not required).

Courier delivery within Moscow Ring Road is free. Beyond the Ring Road — 500₽. Russian Post to other regions — at Russian Post rates (usually 300–500₽). Delivery is included in the price for orders over 5,000₽.

Yes, we can send a scan or PDF of the translation by email. This is suitable if you do not need the original with a seal (for example, for review or internal company use). If notarized certification is required, we send the original by courier.
