The process includes selecting a translator by genre, approving a test sample, translating with interim deliveries by chapter, literary editing, and final proofreading.

Book Translation Process: 6 Steps
- Project assessment — we analyze genre, volume, target audience. We determine timelines, cost, and team composition. Quote within 1 business day.
- Test sample — the translator completes 2–3 pages. You evaluate style, vocabulary, and tone. We can assign a different specialist if needed.
- Translation by chapters — work proceeds in blocks of 3–5 chapters with interim deliveries. You see progress and can provide feedback early on.
- Literary editing — a second translator checks style, internal logic, names, and cultural references. For non-fiction — terminology and fact verification.
- Proofreading — final check of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency throughout the book.
- Delivery in format — finished translation in DOCX, EPUB, or InDesign. We can assist with typesetting for publishers if needed.
