Terms of Service

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") govern the relationship between OOO "Universal" (TIN: 7710932226, hereinafter referred to as the "Provider") and the person using the website univer-co.ru (hereinafter referred to as the "User").

1.2. Use of the Website constitutes unconditional acceptance of this Agreement by the User.

1.3. The Provider reserves the right to amend the terms of the Agreement at any time. The current version is always available on this page.

2. Subject of Agreement

2.1. The Provider grants the User access to the Website and its services:

• Information about translation services
• Online translation cost calculator
• Feedback and order form
• AI assistant for consultations
• Blog with useful articles

2.2. The provision of translation services is governed by a separate Service Agreement concluded between the Provider and the Client.

3. Service Terms

3.1. To place an order, the User:

• Submits documents for evaluation (by email, through the website form, or via messengers)
• Receives a cost and timeline estimate
• Confirms the order and makes payment
• Receives the completed translation

3.2. The cost of services is determined based on current rates published on the prices page and may be adjusted depending on the volume, subject matter, and urgency of the order.

3.3. Order completion timelines are agreed upon individually and depend on volume, subject matter, and language pair.

4. Payment

4.1. Payment for services is accepted through the following methods:

• Cash at the Provider's office
• Bank card (Visa, Mastercard, MIR)
• Bank transfer (for legal entities)

4.2. New clients are required to make a 50% prepayment. Post-payment terms are available for regular clients.

4.3. Final payment is made upon delivery of the completed translation.

5. Quality Guarantees

5.1. The Provider guarantees:

• Compliance of the translation with ISO 17100:2015 and GOST R 50691-2013 standards
• Three-stage quality review (translation → editing → proofreading)
• Free revisions within 30 calendar days after delivery of the translation
• Acceptance of notarized translations by government authorities

5.2. The free revision guarantee applies to justified quality concerns and does not include changes in stylistic preferences, addition of new text, or changes to the source document.

6. Confidentiality

6.1. The Provider undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of all documents and materials submitted by the User.

6.2.

6.3. Upon the User's request, the Provider executes an additional NDA.

6.4. Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All Website materials (texts, design, logos, software code) are the intellectual property of the Provider and are protected by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

7.2. The Provider does not acquire any rights to the source materials submitted by the User for translation.

7.3. Rights to the completed translation are transferred to the User upon full payment of the order.

8. Liability

8.1. The Provider is liable for:

• Quality of completed translations
• Adherence to agreed timelines
• Safekeeping of submitted documents
• Confidentiality of information

8.2. In case of delays caused by the Provider, compensation of 10% of the order value is provided.

8.3. The Provider is not liable for the content of source documents provided by the User.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1. All disputes and disagreements shall be resolved through negotiations.

9.2. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be referred to the court at the Provider's location in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

9.3. A mandatory pre-trial claims procedure applies. The deadline for reviewing a claim is 10 business days from the date of receipt.

10. Miscellaneous

10.1. This Agreement takes effect from the moment the User begins using the Website and remains in effect indefinitely.

10.2. If any provision of the Agreement is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10.3. Matters not covered by this Agreement shall be governed by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
